Fusing

Fusing rollers are used in the fusing unit of laser printers and copiers. A typical fusing system is comprised of a fusing roller/belt and a pressure roller.  

At a temperature of 180 C◦ the rollers permanently affix toner to the print media. The essential characteristic of these highly technical components is superior release of toner constituents, even at high printing speed.  

Fusing rollers are generally expected to last the projected life of the printer or copier.
