In 1950, Enbi was founded in the southern part of the Netherlands and went on to position itself as an important custom rubber molder supporting domestic niche markets.
By the 1990’s, Enbi had established international presence and had strengthened its value proposition with the addition of injection molded plastics and metal shafting expertise. Enbi successfully leveraged the synergies of these technologies and established itself as an important designer and manufacturer of critical paper-path components and assemblies used in the office automation industry.
Impressed by Enbi’s technologies and the trajectory of the office automation market, Royal Ten Cate N.V. acquires 100% of the shares in Enbi as part of its diversification strategy.
